Mike may have RipTel on this BBS, I'll go look for it on the BBS's
Web Portal in a bit.
I'll look at what Wikipedia has to say about RipTel too.

Thanks for all the help explaining RIP graphics to me.
All I see is jumbled up ASCII in the messages in the Rip echo.

I've noticed GT 19 on Mikes BBS but never downloaded it 'cuz I thought
only SysOps needed it.
I may have grabbed GT docs years ago to read and learn stuff about how
GT_Power BBS's do what they do, that was back when I either used the
Commodore 64 or the 486 to log on Tom Currie's The Volunteer BBS.
Some years back I tried Telneting to Mikes BBS, but after He told me
how to use FTP for QWK I haven't used Telnet at all.
Telnet has the look and feel of Dial-Up but I've learned to write a
.BAT to run a FTP Script, and to me that is easier.
