But they would match exactly given that the first character is counted as 0
(UNIX-think) instead of 1 (DOS-think). If you count from 0 with tab stop(s)
set to 4 then they match perfectly once you adjust the first line to account
for the DOS-think 'bug'. It is your DOS-think editor that is getting it
'wrong' but only because of the indexing or offset from the start of the line.
Superior methodologies index starting at 0 not 1. :::tsk, tsk:::
As of this post I am claiming bragging rights. However I am leaving the tab
stops to the default 8 which every app I checked on my linux boxes seems to
agree with as being the correct and superior behavior. :::evil grin:::
