Then a different form factor would probably be more desirable, perhaps
something a tad bigger that would house more disk/expansion options. If
you have all the devices external, that sucker then turns into in fixed
station and if you're going to do that, why not get a fixed station device
to begin with. (it's far cheaper and better expansion options.)

I rarely ever use mine any other way, and all it has internally is a HD, no
CD, no floppy.

I never use mine as a music player, so I really wouldn't get into the
situation where I'd need that.
