subject: Saving Videos

Howdy! Joe,

Some of the first videos I tried to save have a WEBM extension.
VLC plays them but they are not as I saw them the day I saved them.
The image is dark and some parts of the image have red coloring on them.

So I tried saving them with the MP4 extension but when I play them in VLC
or SM Player they also look the same as the ones with the WEBM extension.

I put some WEBM and MP4 videos on a DVD and they play fine with VLC in my
other pc.

So I guess there is a setting I need to change in this XP box so I can
see videos I've saved clearly.

Also when I use Irfanview to look at a video I made with my Digital Camera
that has a AVI extension, it is dark but if I pause the video and Copy what
is showing, and then Open Irfanview another time and Paste it in the colors
are just as they are when I look at the video on my camera.

HMMMMMMM????????????

I addressed this message to Joe but I appreciate anyone's suggestions.

Thanks!

Ed
