I haven't had a problem with Squish compiling in awhile.
In fact the last few times I have had good luck getting it compiled.
but without a bbs that supports the squish or the *.msg format. right
now its just wasting inodes. Unfortunatly.... the Maximus under dosemu
does NOT seem to like the dosemu virtual fs so accessing the squish
message bases from the dos version in dosemu is a nightmare. Thus I
gave dosemu its own IDE HD on a second box to play with. Works
wonderful.

Right now, as I said, I can get squish to compile. a working
maximus system would be cool. YOu asked about sqafix config file.
Well, I got the msdos sqafix laying around on my dosemu maximus bbs
but haven't installed it yet. Still debating if I should get rid of
the DSL or not. Its getting cold now and my main heat source is
Natural Gas. Being on Disability. my DSL is taking away from the funds
to pay for my gas bill. If I get rid of the DSL. then the msdos
version of Maximus would work good as I only right now got one bbs
Pots line. However.. the stock Maximus QWK door does not have a command
to ADD all message areas in a sub menu. say all RIME.* conferences. I
am talking about the maximus 3.01 for Msdos with the y2k fixes. it has
a - key to REMOVE ALL. Is there a mex script to do just that? say add
all message groups in a sub catagory? sitting there at the add option
and typing
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 .... 375 is NOT exactly a joy.
I carry over 4000 message bases on the bbs including usenet, I-link,
Fido, Justanet, Nukenet, Dovenet Rime, Mirage. and you can just
imagine how big my msgarea.ctl file is! (thank god Scott kept the opus
include directive in silt! because it makes the file a little less
painful to edit.
