As someone pointed out, this is just plain wrong.  I got it
backwards.  command.com under Win98 only redirects stdout,
not stderr.  So, the copyright message is being written to
stderr, and the error messages to stdout.

Which makes it even more frustrating why our tee32 can't get
the stdout of MSC 8!
