RT> Split speed reporting is default on ZoomV34 with 1.6nn ROM.
MJ> This is all a part of how that the friend I spoke of configured my
 MJ> modem software for me.
Then it will always output
CONNECT /ARQ//
        /:TX/:RX
with /V1 added to init

RT> Here's an example of the :38400 section called by all speeds above
RT> 19k2 with an errorlevel of 84. Your command line to call Max will be
RT> different. If it's got a configuration to avoid using EMS use it
MJ> Why ? Maximus runs fine now and it uses EMS/XMS as well as Lower Ram.
If you were using DV as a multi-tasker, found that to be better.
Also for a Windows setup where you might have older EMS-hungry
DOS programs wanting to use that memory portion.

RT> Usually, s95=47 will output CARRIER messages
 MJ> It does. :}
As long as you've not got /v1 enabled
RT> That's the latest for model 275 internal
 MJ> What does teh 275 signify ?
That's the Zoom model number. With the V34Plus speeds added by upgrade
it becomes a 27505
Glad to hear is working ok now
