A good few days as I remember. Never did that again - or at least
that is what my Dad thought (G)

Maybe the cheese/apple pie is a midwest thing - I never knew anyone
did that other than in Wisconsin.
Lets see - I remember people shaking salt into a glass of beer - I
guess to keep it fizzing - don't remember seeing that anywhere else
either.
