Yeup. That was true everywhere and I believe it was prematurely withdrawn
from the market in California.

I don't think Harry was interested in chasing after wild geese...he was
more interested in moving what he could use at home or sell if it was good
enough to bring a good price. i.e. he had a 4L60E GM rebuilt and sealed
trans with a new torque converter advertised locally for sale at $800.
When he didn't sell it, I offered him $500 for it and it's now mine. I
plan to offer it for sale on a few automotive sites that I frequent for
$1300 and I probably won't have any trouble finding a buyer.
