True on most cars these days. An exception to that would be my 56 Chevy,
which has an aftermarket A/C system from Vintage Air in it.
The other exception is that the 56 has the radiator mounted in the 6cyl
position, which is ahead of the core support. The original V8 models
mounted the core behind the core support, closer to the engine. I opted to
mount mine in front, leaving plenty of room for the 18" electric fan.
