I checked yesterday about some usb wireless I had some information on and
couldn't find the right answer from anyone who I thought *should* know. I
decided to just stick with usb storage devices for now given the sad state
of current affairs. The pci cards are really easy to determine since the
manufacturers leave the right information stamped on the chipsets. Mind
you I require a magnifying glass to read that information these days.
Always something eh?  :::sigh:::

Yesterday Paul made a quantum leap forward with the wireless network and I
think we're almost ready as far as a wireless BBS is concerned. I am
hoping to make him the first wireless Fido point here at Kumalockasun soon.

For sure. One step at a time.

Ouch. I've heard lately that overall that activity is on the decrease here
in Canada but Victoria BC seems to be bucking that trend for whatever
reason. Also heard about a thief getting electrocuted attempting to steal
coppper wire out of a building that is being gutted there. Apparently
there were signs posted all over the site warning thieves that the wiring
was still live and would kill them. All concerned were amazed the thief
even survived. Last I heard he is in hospital with severe burns but is
expected to live and will be in court to face charges as soon as he is
able.

Unreal. Talk about desperation eh?

Life is good,
Maurice
