I'm not sure, but I think you can still use it up to Win98. 

BW/386 requires DOS4GW.EXE for extended memory management, and I 
think that WinXP has problems with it. 

I use it in Win3.11 with no problems, and I used it with the 
MS-DOS 7.0 from Win95 running Win3.11 with no problems.
