The old way by POTS modem is not used any more and it it long time since I
self had a working BBS by POTS modem.
THe last time I have it working was when I had a win98 running and then a
w2000 system, and it had it trouble by poll ad answer on polls. Now is it
linux bbs and connection by Internet, tcp telnet and nntp, and is mbsebbs
thee do it on 2 computer.
I have about 10 bbs user now but for about 10 years ago was it 50 users,
but lot of visitors on my web.

GKA>> The most of my links is using Internet binkp connections for both

before binkp connection was it too 4 nets I was in and downlinks was about 10.

MK>I wish you luck with that but I think they may suffer the same fate as
 MK>Fido.

More and more have a news server setup and running.

  Take care,
     Gert
