You have me shaking my head in total agreement over what you have written. For the above, before the Wildcat ver4.20 BBS program I had was closed the spring of 2005, I asked a few to sign on, when I saw them in the stores. The answer was, that the dial up Internet modems could not dial a number which I found a lame excuse...so I left it at that and closed off, when the only 2 users had not used it for 6 months. TL> 73 de VK3JED TL> http://www.vkradio.com TL> Synchronet BBS coming soon! No real regrets, I have no plans to have a re-start only an interest in the Internet programs or the easiest BBS to launch via the Internet . Wildcat wanted after I got ver4.20 a price that I was not ready to pay. I also have a FBB BBS on packet ver 515c with the transmitter at 50watts faced south towards the city for linking....whenever. Ok..enough from me... 73 Peter VE3WBZ ... Where there's a will, I want to be in it. ___ Blue Wave/DOS v2.30 [NR] --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 123/140 500 379/1 633/267 |
