It certainly is. I work with a product from a company called Paperfree
Systems, Inc. -- a "mapper" that translates from EDI format to DBF file
format, which I can then import directly into ParadoxWin. When we're ready
to export, we'll set up a mapper going the other way. I've linked
in a scripted telecomm product, callable from within PdoxWin, so I can push a
single button and sit back while the comm program dials out, gets the EDI
file, passes it to the mapper, the mapper creates my DBF files, my script
(method) brings the data into Paradox and massages it appropriately, and it's
ready for display to the user. Simple!
