  >a diffrence of opinion !
I don't recall a single person on this board saying you were a bad
person because you believe differently from others. I *have* heard a
lot of people saying they don't agree with you, and insisting that you
support your statements with facts and definitions. When I demand facts
and definitions and explanations, that is not a statement about the
moral integrity of the person I am demanding it of. A failure to give
facts, definitions, and explanations may say something about the
intellectual integrity of the person I am communicating with; but that
is a different ballgame from moral integrity.
It is my own belief, however (and I could be wrong) that this feeling
you have of being made into "the bad guy" is just another way of
avoiding answering some hard questions that are being sent your way.
For example, *I* could create all sorts of belief systems (and have;
trust me, I'm good at this) on the basis of almost no information at
all. When challenged to produce facts to support these belief systems, I
tend to feel very uncomfortable, and put upon; sometimes, even,
attacked. But, actually, my feeling of being attacked is very often, in
reality, anger at being trapped by someone who actually knows what
they're talking about, and demands that I know what I'm talking about.
Of course I can always fall back on the old, "I just *know* it's true,
because God personally came down and told me," but I haven't noticed
that that statement ever convinces anyone I'm right. And, in reality,
it doesn't convince me either, because, usually, I'm lying. (g) So,
when I get trapped in that position, I have to re-search facts, which
forces me to re-think my position. Sometimes I come back to the same
conclusion; sometimes I reach another conclusion. Whichever one
happens, I *now* have facts to support my opinion, so the *next* time
some outlandish person who insists on knowing facts and stuff like that
comes my way, I don't have to *claim* divine inspiration, even if it's
true. (g)
