Hi George,
On 30 Jan'97, you growled something about Re: A Band, B Band? to
Reinhart Rentsch:

I have one of those such phones, an AT&T 3610. I can have two numbers
programmed into it from and A and BTW carrier. I just have to switch to
one or the other. I can also have it set to respond to the first
carrier it senses. Since I only have one carrier ("A") programmed in, I
keep it set as such. When I first got it, I would set it to sense the
first system. I ride the subway to & from work, and when I come out of
the subway, the first system it always sensed was the "B" system here.
That explained why I wasn't getting my calls. The "B" system seemd to
reach certain places in the subway where the "A" system could get there
at all. Now, I keep it at "A" all the time.
