Title: Matilda's Sz+¬key K+íposzta (Sauerkraut w/Pork & Cream)

3 sm Onions
250 g Rindless back bacon; diced
400 g Tin (or bag) sauerkraut
1 Cabbage; shredded
3 cl Garlic
3 tb Oil
1 kg Pork
1 tb Paprika
1 ts Ground Black Pepper
250 ml Sour Cream
Salt
Shred the cabbage.
Peel the onions, slice, then dice. Place in a pot over
medium heat to saute in a little oil.
Add the sauerkraut to the shredded cabbage.
Slice, then dice the boneless pork.
Combine the cabbage, sauerkraut and the diced pork in a
bowl and let it rest.
Add the paprika to the sauteed onions and add the bacon,
stirring to combine. Peel and grate the garlic into the
onion/bacon mixture.
Add the juice from the canned sauerkraut to the onion,
garlic and bacon mixture. Add the sauerkraut and
cabbage/pork mixture to the pot. cover and let simmer
for two hours until pork is cooked and tender.
Serve with sour cream.
