I've only seen such a thing attempted once, and it was Klahn making the
attempt.  He tried to use access to HIS echo as a bargaining chip in his
effort to force rules to be changed in a DIFFERENT echo.  The result was
that the poor buffoon made himself into a bigger buffoon by being possibly
the first fidonet moderator to ban someone in ONE echo for what was
supposedly said in ANOTHER echo.
