From: "Adam Flinton" I can see eclipse being "disruptive" in that way. I know / know of a large & growing set of "free" projects bringing all sorts of stuff to eclipse...in fact so much so that....buying expensive tools???.....I reckon the days of the 3k USD/UKœ IDE are drawing to an end as are the days of even the 1K IDE. I've been playing around with the plugins/SWT for about a month & a 1/2 now & I must say that......actually the scope of Eclipse is much much wider that just an IDE. You could make a fast & good cross platform Word processor /set of office tools etc within eclipse. have a look round: http://eclipse-plugins.2y.net/eclipse/index.jsp Adam "Tim Hawkins" wrote in message news:3e223c96$1{at}w3.nls.net... > Thanks, I'll look at it, Im also looking at CodeForge, and the Metroworks > CodeWarrior, but they both cost money :-) > > > "Adam Flinton" wrote in message > news:3e214f9d{at}w3.nls.net... > > Eclipse......? > > > > Works on both.
