| subject: | Re: Obama`s Report Card |
Hello again Bob. As I said earlier, I generally agree with your comments here regarding the financial crisis, and the culpable parties behind it. I may have left out Congress in my previous remarks, but I assure you that I likewise include many members of both houses just as responsible for this mess. We seem to pretty much see eye-to-eye concerning the corruption and self-serving interest which runs rampant throughout the US Government. Like you, I detest politicians, I don't trust very many of them to tell the truth, and most of them certainly aren't interested in helping the little guys at the bottom. I have always been amazed by the degree of gullibility of the American voting public. They are swindled time and time again by politicians, and they still don't get it; they still don't grasp the fact that playing the democracy game is an exercise in futility, because it is not real. What I mean by the above is that who gets elected really has nothing to do with the voice of the people. You and I both know that it is all about money, and that a person can't even become a candidate unless they have millions of dollars behind them. Votes are bought, not cast. Personally, I have been of the opinion for some time that maybe the USA would be better off without the electoral college. Maybe we should go back to just a popular vote, and one-man, one-vote. That way, people's voices have a better chance of being heard...maybe. You asked if I thought if Obama is more of a puppet than his predecessor was. Well, as I have told my friends and readers many times before, Republican, Democrat or Independent, it makes no difference. They are all puppets, they are all front men, they are all just actors putting on a show for the American public, while the real powers control things from behind the scenes...and of course, I am referring to the bankers. We should all know the philosophy of the Rothschilds...control the purse and you control the nation, any nation, and the International Bankers have done a fine job of it via the IMF, the World Bank, etc. Let me close by commenting on your remark regarding the USA becoming an authoritarian state. I will take it a step further. With globalization becoming more widespread with each passing year, I am convinced because of my personal religious beliefs that we are headed towards a global authoritarian state...and I will leave it at that, because this is not a religious echo. :) Sorry this was so long, but as you can probably tell, this is a subject which is dear to my heart, and I've written a number of interesting articles about Bush, Obama, the state of affairs in the USA and the world, etc., if you are interested in reading them.
