-> BK>>> The problem is with your management, not Union contractors. -> -> TW>> BS Bob. UNION workers overall are the poorest in -> TW>> craftsmanship in the WORLD. You get Crappy Work at a Higher -> TW>> Cost!! I don't know. Here in the great white North and in my limited experience, I have found that A Union shop presents clear rules of work, continuity guaranteed, a firm contract and a whole mess of amity in having reached agreements about what is fair/acceptable...kind of a moral building security...a little like being on the parade grounds and knowing where you are in the Great Big Fat Scheme Of Things...because of the number of stripes, bars or birds you are wearing. :-) -> to 10% above union scale and not have to deal with a union and its various -> rules and demands. The rules and demands of management are there and known also. It's a contract. And agreement. (And human: Unreasonableness no doubt, at times, from both sides...) --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Doc's Place BBS Fido Since 1991 docsplace.tzo.com (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 18/200 34/999 120/228 123/500 128/2 140/1 226/0 236/150 SEEN-BY: 249/303 250/306 261/20 38 100 1381 1404 1406 1410 1418 266/1413 SEEN-BY: 280/1027 633/260 267 712/848 800/432 2222/700 2320/100 105 200 2905/0 @PATH: 123/140 500 261/38 633/260 267 |
