Title: Green Chile Stew > Carless Gay

2 lb Lean chuck
Lard
1/2 md Onion; chopped
14 1/2 oz Can diced tomatoes w/chilies
10 oz Can white shoepeg corn
12 lg Green chilies; roasted,
- peeled, in pieces

8 oz Can chopped green chilies
1 ts Garlic salt
1 ts Salt
6 1/2 c Water
Cut the meat up into very small pieces (1/2" cubes)
and brown in a little lard in a large, deep heavy pan.
Add the onions. When the meat and onions have been
browned, drain off any excess fat. Add the rest of the
ingredients and the water. Bring to a boil and simmer
for at least a half hour. Serve.
