JP> No drop-down box. If I do the Alt-space, I do get a menu
JP> that has Options in it and I then can see the font choices.

ML> and one of them is AUTO??

JP> First, a correction, it is not Options that I see there,
JP> it is Default. And then there is no Auto option for the font.

'k...

JP> Keep in mind that I do not run in Windows mode, but in
 JP> full-screen.

actually, you are still in windows mode... you just happen to be behind the
curtain with the wizard (of oz) ;)

JP> When I go to Windows, Alt-, and if I change the
JP> font to fill the vertical screen, then the right-hand margin is
JP> out of the picture by about 10%. One more reason for me to stay
JP> in full-screen. That menu is from Alt-space.

right... that font is just a touch too large for the resolution (1024x768?)
you are running the graphical environment in... what about the next lower
font size? that should be pretty close and offer you the ability to jump
back and forth (easier) from other windows programs to the reader... well,
if you multitask like some of the rest of us O:) i jump from my
"reader" to firefox, thunderbird, ie, and most any other programs
i'm running at the time... it depends... many times, i'll see a url in a
fido message so i'll copy'n'paste it into one of the browsers and then read
some more while the url loads...
