| subject: | SMAPI Compile Problem |
Hello Nick. 21 Aug 07 03:24, you wrote to me: NV>>> My mistake, fixed. Please, try code from cvs. RT>> Thanks, just tried it and it compiles fine ... NV> Fine. NV>>> btw, rc5 is outdated. Please, don't use it. RT>> Well if cvs does not work, I have no choice but to fall back to RT>> the last version that worked, (rc5) and if that does not work, RT>> then I am right royally screwed ... NV> It's common that in the cvs version some minor issues exist, NV> especially with compiling on various linuxes. But most of the time NV> they are really easy to solve, we just need some quality feedback and NV> things will be up and running again in no time. So, I would add "make NV> report and wait a day or two" somewhere in between "does not work" and NV> "be royally screwed" in your algorithm =) Heeee ... heeee .... hic-cup .... Such things happen time to time, and I really do appreciate your speedy response, but when I need to test something, it must work immiediately, for the simple reason, I don't have time to hang around and wait. i.e. when I try and test something, and it does not work, well, it might be weeks or months later before I have the freedom/ability to take up that task again. So once again, many thanks for the "fix" Enjoy!!
