Hello Bruce, I wish you a nice day!

 BC> Setup/Configure Mail Reader
 BC> Directories
 BC> Download Directory C:\REC\
BC> Upload Directory C:\SEND\ <<==-- .rep will be here
 BC> Work Directory C:\BW\WORK\
 BC> Reply Directory C:\BW\REPLY\
 BC> Data Directory C:\BW\DATA\

My .rep goes into D:\UPLOAD. Where did I or you, get the
different file name ? I have not changed mine, for sure. UPLOAD
  was generated by BW.

BC> Don't even close BW in that case.
BC> Swap out, open another DOS window, and run UNDELETE on the SEND
BC> folder. After recovering the .rep file, move it to a temp folder, then
BC> close BW and move the .rep file back to the SEND folder and start
 BC> over again.

Hey ! This could have been a solution. I wish that I had
thought of it. As Mark L. says, when closing a PRG the OS will
close files and the Registry to the actual "profile" and maybe
by closing BW, the 0ocs.rep was sent to the bit bucket.

        Thanks for trying.
