| Hey, Paul. You were talking to James Mccombe

PH> Well, there really isn't any easy way to set up simple CGI scripts
PH> like web counters. You have to know the CGI programming language
PH> called Perl, or you have to but an expensive easy-to-use CGI script
PH> generator. I'd rather go with the free Perl software than I would
PH> buying a $200 dollar program. Also, I think the CGI script has to be
PH> on your web server in order to count how many people visit your web
 PH> page.
JM>Actually I attended a seminar today, so I learned a bit about CGI script
JM>programming, and I am thinking about getting Perl :)
I got my version of Perl off a CD-ROM at the library. The book is called
Intranet Bible and the CD-ROM is attached to the book. The license agreement
even says you may freely copy the Perl software to whom ever you wish.
When I find the internet address for where you can get the Perl software I
will give it to ya.
