        I had two of the Hughes SRS units that I used with my stereo
system. I liked the effect until I changed to very sensitive loud-
speakers. Then the effect was not what I was looking for.
        The SRS technology that NuReality is offering came from
Hughes. It is used on the upper end Sony and RCA TVs. I own a desktop
unit that I use with my PC and wouldn't be without it. It spreads the sounds
from my speakers that are only about 18 inches apart and makes it sound like 
a wide soundstage.
        The home units are a matter of personal taste. I wouldn't even
consider buying the $250 model from NuReality unless there is a no
questions asked, 100% money back if not pleased policy by the seller.
You will either love it...or hate it.
