subject: Newfoundland Adoption

ML> Hi again to all my friends out there. I am in need of some
ML> information for a friend of mine. She was adopted out of St. Johns,
ML> Newfoundland back in the 60's by an American couple. She was just
ML> given all the info that her A-mom had on her adoption and she would
ML> like to get a copy of her original records from Newfoundland. She
ML> has all the info as far as case # and who the Clerk Magistrate was
ML> for her adoption.
ML>
ML> I have seen posts on here by our Canadian friends and was
ML> wondering if one of them could give me the address on who to contact
ML> in Canada for her to get this info. I am not sure who covers
ML> Newfoundland for these records and what the cost is for a copy. Any
ML> help would be appreciated.
