Hello Charles, I wish you a nice day!

 CJ> if exist g:\sx\techndrm.rep copy g:\sx\techndrm.rep g:\spare

This is lost art on me. I got to binary art too late in
life. I get the jest of your line but for me to build anything
like this would be step by step effort and really too much time
  taking.

CJ> If as you described, you deleted the rep BEFORE you exited the
CJ> reader, I don't know of an easy solution that problem when using
CJ> BW. Most of my experiences with lost reps involved problems while
 CJ> interacting with the BBS.

It was a finger problem here, Charles. You see, when BW
comes on-screen, it will present you with the choice of reading
your personal mail first and you can say (Y)es or (N)o. Any
reply will next bring you to an offer of reading the mail (Y)es
or deleting a previous .rep with a (N)o. I reacted to the (N)
from the delete screen as for the (N)o reading the personal mail
and that is where my fingers were too fast on the KB. BW does a
fine job of deleting a file, as you can see. It was really gone.
No bad interaction here with Doc's Place.
