Interestingly, Senate Republicans have what they call the "nuclear
option," which means they can change the rules so that a simple
majority can confirm a nominee.  If they do this, you can sit
comfortably across the pond and watch this place go crazy.  If you
think the left went crazy in 2000, wait until you see what they do if
the Senate can no longer block Bush nominees.
