Yep, that is Bob on the nose.  When he gets one of his petty grudges going,
he looks for people to be cheerleaders for him, so that Wilson won't feel
lonely.  Several years ago he got into a particularly series of
insult-swaps with someone, and he even asked ME to read them and take his side!

And he also concocts things like "echo sabotage" to justify pushing people
out of his echo.  I only hope that he hasn't been such an unpleasant and
bitter person ALL his life.
