VICTIMS OF FALSE ACCUSATIONS OF ABUSE - VFALSAC ECHO RULES
 
    1. Do not hide behind a pseudonym. If you have been falsely accused, your 
public declaration of your innocence is an important step in proving that 
innocence, and challenging those false accusers who expecty to embarrass or 
threaten you into anonymity.
 
    2. Be honest. Anger, remorse, fear, pain, if honestly expressed as "owned 
emotions", are permissible in this echo.
 
    3. You may exercise your First Amendment Right here to challenge others,
but do not expect to go unchallenged yourself. This is a public FidoNet echo, 
and its messages may be quoted by anyone.
 
    4. No commercial advertising allowed on VFALSAC. This echo crosses state
lines, and so-called services which claim to go from state to state regarding 
court or investigatory procedures may not only be fraudulent, but may also be 
running afoul of laws in your state. The "child abuse racket" has not only 
spawned agencies and persons who accuse falsely, but also hit-and-run 
entities who claim to specialize in fighting, investigating or litigating 
against false allegations of abuse. If you are falsely accused, now is *not* 
the time to experiment with such traveling hit-and-run artists. You need 
competent local help who can be relied upon when the going gets rough. Most 
child abuse allegations take a *long* time to finally discredit and remedy.
 
    5. No one who obeys the above rules is excluded from this echo. If you
are innocent, say so. If you are an actual perpetrator of abuse, recognize
that you have done something wrong, and let's discuss how to prevent that
from happening in the future. If you are an actual victim of abuse, please
recognize that there is such a thing as FALSE accusation, and that it is
necessary to protect the falsely accused as well as actually abused persons.
 
    6. If you turn out to be a FALSE ACCUSER, a sympathizer with FALSE
ACCUSERS, or someone who wishes to justify the excesses of the witch-hunters
by means of exaggerated statistics, beware. You are welcome to this forum,
but you will not be treated gently here.
