Hey, man!
i know how you feel. We have four days of clinical requirements for
the EMT-B course (two EMS and two ER) and every clinical I had I was told "it
isn't usually this slow". Other students in my class were doing CPR, bagging
people, suctioning, and overall getting some good experience in. I put on
three C-collars and packaged two people. That and three sets of vitals. I was
disappointed. The whole point of a clinical is to get some real world
experience, and I felt almost cheated.
Oh, well. That's life. By the way, I just started my Intermediate
course myself. It is kinda of neat, but a lot of review.
Good luck!
Mike
