There is a spray version of catnip made by "Smarty Cat" that you can spray on
their toys.  Same effect... but no kitty weed spread around things.

There's also a manistream cat treat (they advertise them on tv but I can't
remember the brand) that comes in a green bag or container and it has catnip in
them.  They have to eat a lot to get the "high" effect though.

Catnip can make some kitties aggressive though.
