OK.. I'm gonna toss this out in the open because I can't figger this
out, and of course finding documentation for it isn't easy...
I have a pair of DOS workstations which have been humming along just
fine with Netware and Lantastic, connecting to both.
I installed NT on a new system, and can't configure the DOS
workstations to link into the NT server. Lantastic renames the NET.EXE
and replaces it with their own (which can see only Lantastic servers)...
I've loaded GSNW, RIP, and SAP on the NT server to try and emulate a
Netware server, but the DOS workstations are oblivious to it.
Windows95 workstations can access the NT server just fine. I checked
the IPX network address, and the NT server and Netware server match.
There's no router in place, only a hub for the NT server (10bT) that
also connects to the coax wiring where all other machines are wired.
Any ideas?
