I guess it depends on what rag you read. I never saw ANY headlines the day
after the Masters, referring to his race. They all referred to his
record-setting, dominating performance without mentioning color.
I've seen later articles that talked about his race, that might have put his
color in the headlines. That's certainly understandable.
If his race wasn't talked about at all, everyone from Jesse Jackson to Al
Sharpton would be ripping the media for ignoring the fact that he's
African-American (at least partially :).
