There's a third-party add-on product that was just released called
TURBOPAL that creates EXE files from your Paradox code. It's expensive
though ($795, although there's currently a $495 special being offered).
I'm not sure of the hardware requirements of it, or the EXE's, but
suspect it would run on a 286 with 4 MGB of RAM (since Paradox-DOS
itself can).
The Professional Version of FOXPRO 2.6 FOR DOS also creates EXE's, and
will run on a 286 as well.
