Certainly. For the most part, if you stay the heck out of the way, there's no
problem. It's when someone starts acting like a jackass...........
As I said in a later post, the great American pasttime now seems to be
litigation.
No offense to any legal types who might be here. Used to be though, if you
had
a problem with your neighbor, you went over and talked it out. Now, ya call
Shapiro and Shapiro.
Anyway, back to railfanning. I see by your address you're from Richmond. From
the city proper or nearby? My ex brother in law used to live in Hopewell,
went down there a couple of times. Friend of mine now lives in Richmond and
is also a railfan and model railroader. When he was up last time was showing
some shots from around the area. Lots of raqilroad history down there, as
most of the railroads date from before the Civil War. Found a great book a
while
back called "The Railroads of the Confederacy". Fascinating reading if you
can
find it.
