BB>KB>We are fans of amazons since many years and owned several birds,
BB>KB>at last a pair of Yellow fronted, which was in good breeding
BB>KB>condition and had already (infertile) eggs.
BB>I have a pair of yellow fronted Amazons also! The male was my well loved
pet
BB>from 23 days old. After he matured, I got him a "older" woman (8 years old
BB>to his 4 years old). So far, they haven't produced even clear eggs but SHE
BB>sure is interested!
BB>KB>loud screaming caused problems too.) Nowadays we are "birdless",
BB>KB>but the time will come, when...
BB>African Greys are the quietest of all birds. Even their natural
BB>vocalizations are pleasant. Your neighbors will never even know you have a
BB>bird. AGs are the perfect apartment bird. They are not even close to
BB>the personality of Amazons (!) but are nevertheless a lovely companion
bird.
Grandma, I resent this. No personality huh? You should hear me talk now
and turn my head upside down for Momma to comment on. I also make things
lively by throwing things and spraying water and yelling stop it. With
my beautiful red tail and white head I excute personality.
love Meggie
Bobbi, I think you gave good advice. Meggie is not loud or obnoxious and
would be a perfect apartment bird. I bet you didn't know she could
reead.Even when she is in her best talking mode it is not real loud or
offensive. Of course I hand onto every word. Right now she is saying
Hello and making like a chicken.
Good to see you back.
Meggie's flock
