No doubt about that. I didn't even know those fish were there and the eagle
picked them off no problem. I think the eagle was using me as a lure!
Anyhow it was and is an awesome sight though. I never noticed any bald
eagles in my travels around Ontario. Are there any/many in Michigan? The
most I have seen in one place was just north of here on Quadra Island
although parts of northern Manitoba came in a close second. I hear there are
tons of them around Alaska although I haven't been there yet. I have been
close to Alaska when I skirted the Panhandle in northern BC on my way back
from the Yukon. Lots of grizzlies fishing for salmon but seeing they had the
best spots I didn't bother trying to catch any. The grizzlies didn't appear
to want to share their spots. :(
