I don't do a lot of scripting because (as one example) to backup a whole
network of windows servers I just click checkboxes instead of writing a
huge script to tar them all to tape, because I use frontpage instead of
php, because I have a GUI scheduling tool, etc.
Remember when you had to script things in a unix mail server just to create
email accounts? Do you do that today or does your mail server have a nice
http GUI front end for entering new emails, alias, and domains? Maybe when
Unix grows up you too can stop scripting the most basic of functions.
