If you can afford to keep the dialup continuously connected (because it is 
not long distance or billed by the minute or whatever) a "work arround" while 
your trying to get Eudora Light to work right, would be to setup a scripted 
FTP session with a wait/repeated access to keep the connection "live".  Or 
something similar with IE....
