 Yeah, I think there's a bit o' OS confusion here.  :)
 I wasn't running Binkley/2 or Max/2.  The problem with BBS Spawn is
 it doesn't work under DOS.  That's where BBS Batch comes in. 
 Kind of an accident that I even tried to use Spawn... but that's the
 way it was in the sample Bink/2 configs I was using.  *shrug*
