I don't know how to get rid of it, or how it got installed (I don't
remember how I got it), but I heartily recommend this extension:

http://flashblock.mozdev.org/

It suppresses Flash on any page you visit, and in its place inserts a blank
rectangle with a "play" button. If you click the play button, you
activate that particular flash. You can also elect not to block flash on
the site by right-clicking the play button and selecting that option from
the menu.
