Don't tell me about new housing taking up formerly good Field Day
locations. It's happening here at an alarming pace.

Now THAT is cool.

A buddy of mine live only a mile from here and we have fun seeing how
little power it takes for us to communicate. Even with several good sized
buildings between us we haven't had much trouble. I often keep my Yaesu
VX2R in the living room and when I hear him on the rig in the shack I turn
on the VX2R and chat with him.
