  Actually, the reason the chicken crossed the road was with her owners
telling the neighbors that "Henrietta lays eggs for us, and when she
quits laying eggs, we'll kill and eat her".

  So, you see Henrietta at the grocery store, purchasing another couple
dozen eggs.
