Just keep these two flaming talsimans in mind, as we bravely march forward:

o 90% of installs are OEM, on new machines.  Therefore, in the long run, we
are owned.

o Most of the rest with spare cash and enthusiasm are gamers, not the buffs
we once were and knew.  Vista will apparently run 3D faster, with a much
more codified and complete rendering feature-set made mandatory for
compliance (getting the DX10 badge).  End story.
