Iran and North Korea may already have nukes. If not, they'll have them in a
few years anyway.

Its an interesting negotiating ploy. However, the PRC would probably say
that they have free elections already.
Plus, I think it would be unwise for Taiwan to agree to eventual
reunification under any conditions. They need to get recognized as a
sovereign country if they are going to retain the freedoms that they
currently enjoy.
