I don't know of any but SCANPST.EXE (which AFAIK is still of 1998 vintage)
and the 'Inbox Repair Tool' (which seems to have been dropped somewhere
between Outlook 98 and my Outlook 2002 (10.6515.6735 SP3).

As noted, my .PST is ~170MB, and creating a new profile pointing to a new
.PST didn't help, so I'm thinking the problem isn't in the data. FWIW,
others are reporting the same problem several times a week.
